LC-MS

simple LC-MS workflow

GeLC-MS is a widely used proteomics workflow that involves an initial electrophoretic step of resolving protein mixture on a 1-D SDS-PAGE gel. Subsequently, the gel is stained for visualization of protein lanes and each lane slices into discrete fractions along the length of the gel. Finally, each fraction is processed for in- gel protein digestion, peptide purification, and LC-MS-MS analysis.

Traditional Method of Protein Analysis

The traditional method can be long and tedious, taking up to 4 hours to complete before you can begin analyzing.

The NuSep Solution

With nUView technology, you can skip the staining and destaining of lanes (savings of at least 3 hours, depending on staining method used and associated variability/handling. You can activate and visualize the lanes under UV light in 2 minutes after you run the gel and then go ahead to cut the unstained lanes to the LC-MS steps.
